Katie Bittner-Cassett is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). In 1996, she began her career in nursing in the Emergency Room of Franklin Square Hospital. In 1999, Katie graduated from Villa Julie College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked there until 2004 when she moved to the Pediatric Emergency Room at St Agnes Hospital in Baltimore. That is where her love of the pediatric population grew!
In 2012, Katie graduated from the University of Maryland School of Nursing with a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree. Since then, she has worked exclusively with the pediatric population in both the primary care setting and the Emergency room.
Outside of the office, she has an amazing husband who is an exceptional firefighter for the Baltimore County Fire Department. She is also the very proud mother of the cutest 6-year-old little boy who is her reason for everything. As a family, they enjoy spending as much time together as they can going to different zoos, aquariums, amusement parks, and different vacation spots!
